Beyond Barriers - Info Sessions with Young People in Tirana, Fier and Vlora
Beyond Barriers Association, the national coordinator of ROUTE WB6 in Albania organized four local activities with the participation of approximately 72 young people in Albania in Tirana, Fier, and Vlora.
During these info sessions, the young people were informed of the first Regional Volunteers Exchange Program.
These local activities were carried out in cooperation with two local civil society organizations based in Fier ( Epoka e Re) and Vlore ( Vlora Youth Center) with the support of the American corner. While in Tirana, the activities were organized in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana (Local Youth Agency and Directory of Youth).
The young people were introduced to ROUTE WB6 Project and its Regional Volunteers Exchange Program. This scheme comes as the result of the first program of this kind in the Western Balkans, designed by the young people for young people, with the three prototypes of the Regional Volunteer Exchange Program:
– ROUTE WB6 Mini
– ROUTE WB6 Midi
– ROUTE WB6 Maxi
These three schemes offer three different types of volunteer engagement periods: the first one up to one week, the second one up to two weeks, and the third one up to two months.
The participants welcomed this opportunity and expressed their willingness to apply for this program.
