BEYOND BARRIERS INFO SESSION WITH YOUNG PEOPLE IN TIRANA
On the 3rd of December 2020 in Tirana, an informative session was held, regarding volunteering with young people interested in volunteering activism.
Municipality of Tirana in collaboration with Beyond Barriers Association, implemented an activity in the framework of 5th December, International Volunteering Day. During the first session, there were explained main volunteering activities during Covid-19 pandemic which were organized by the Municipality of Tirana and were presented to the participants, highlighting why Volunteering is important to build a better society.
The second session was dedicated to European Volunteering Programs such as European Solidarity Corps. Youngsters were informed in detail about the program and how they can join.
In the last part of the info session, the participants were introduced to the ROUTE WB6 project and its activities. Brief information was given in regard to the Regional Volunteer Exchange Program which is going to be launched soon, also they were informed about the Regional Volunteers Web Platform, where they can access and apply for exchange volunteer opportunities in the region.
